The Six Stages
Discover
We start with a short kickoff call and a written brief: what the site needs to do, who it needs to convince, and what “done” looks like for your specific package.
Define
We map the pages, the content you’ll need to supply, and the review schedule before any design work starts — so nothing gets built twice.
Design
You see real layouts, not mood boards. Structured review rounds (the number depends on your package) mean you sign off on the direction before we build the rest of the site around it.
Build
The approved design gets built to spec: responsive, fast, and structured so you can edit it yourself once it’s live.
Launch
We move the site live, test everything end to end, and walk you through what changed.
Care
The build is done, but the site isn’t static. Whether or not you’re on a Care Plan, we tell you plainly what it takes to keep it current.
Timeline Expectations
These are estimates, not guarantees — the biggest variable in any project's timeline is how quickly content and feedback come back from your side, not how fast we work.
What We Need From You
- Your content — copy, photos, logo files, product data — supplied by the date set at kickoff
- Timely feedback at each review round (we’ll tell you exactly when)
- One point of contact who can make a final call on design decisions
- Access to any existing hosting, domain, or platform accounts, if the project needs it

Is there a kickoff call, or is everything over email?
Every project starts with a short kickoff call to confirm scope and answer questions in real time. Day-to-day communication after that runs over email, so there’s a written record of every decision.
What happens if I’m slow to send content or feedback?
The timeline moves with you — we don’t build content we don’t have, and we don’t guess at feedback you haven’t given. A slower response simply extends the range stated for your package.
Can I request changes after the site launches?
Small fixes right after launch are part of the process. Ongoing changes beyond that are what a Website Care Plan is for.
Do you work alongside other vendors — my current developer, a marketing agency?
Yes, regularly. Tell us who else is involved during Discover and we’ll coordinate directly with them where it’s relevant.
